ALPINE MANOR HOUSE
- Year of execution: 2014-2016
- Total area: 200 m2
- Task: interior design, construction
Our studio was commissioned by the owner of an early 20th century estate and hunting lodge to reconstruct the rececption part of the building. We restored the original elegance of the building mixing up with rather modern yet authentic elements, decoration and furniture.
We were using a special fairing technics that gave back the elegance to each room with soft pastel shades, shiny and matt surfaces. The oval pattern on the ceiling compensate the low heights of the room.
In the living area the grey-toned oak floor, the light, playful curtains and the light blue walls create a modern and harmonious background to the unique furniture and painting collection of the family.
In the house we had some restaurator work, to renew the former frescos, cast iron stove and the carving, to change the doors and windows in the original style.
