SIECLÉ VILLA

Budapest, Hungary

Year of execution: 2013
Total area: 200 sqm
Task: interior architecture, construction

The spaces downstairs in the villa from the turn of the 19-20 centuries were redesigned while keeping to the original qualities of the building. The living room was converted into a bedroom nicely adjoining the bathroom while the new living room was enlarged with a direct access through a French window to the balcony. Between the two rooms there is a spacious dining area where the two walls for the bedroom are covered with a bookcase in geometric design: the shelves form exact boxes and the bookcase window panes open in the exact middle. In the bathroom near the entrance there is a wash basin built in an elegant console table standing in front of a large mirror wall with direct access to a separated toilet bidet combo, a built-in shower panel, sauna and an alcove for household machinery.
