Total area: 100 sqm
Task: interior architecture, site supervision
In the downtown of Budapest we gave a new life to a run-down, 100 sqm, typically high-ceiling traditional apartment with a view to the Opera House. We recreated the whole space in order to make it match to the owner cosmopolitan, urban lifestyle.
We created all the spaces and rooms with modern, close to the minimalistic style built-in furniture and made it milder with cosy textiles and upholstered surfaces.
In the line of the owner’s taste we picked three material to lead the design concept and combined them differently in the rooms: the grey Lavica slab in large format, the wooden patterned decor lamina that has a sophisticated effect and the wall panel system upholstered by alcantara leather.
These surfaces cover mainly the whole space from floor to ceiling.
