KLOTILD PALACE

KLOTILD PALACE

Budapest I design planning I 2024

As part of the renovation concept for Klotild Palace, este’r partners developed an interior proposal for the building’s monumental covered courtyard — a historic atrium serving both as a circulation space and as a defining internal volume of the property. The aim was to introduce a contemporary design gesture that would respect the character of the heritage setting while enhancing its spatial presence.

The concept was centred around a large-scale suspended installation made of Kriskadecor’s metal chain system, extending through several levels of the atrium as a luminous, semi-transparent architectural layer. More than a decorative feature, the installation was designed to shape the experience of the space — softening the scale of the vertical void, filtering light, and creating a refined sense of rhythm, depth, and movement.

Known for its versatility and sculptural quality, Kriskadecor is an internationally recognised architectural material that allows for sophisticated spatial interventions in hospitality and public interiors. In this concept, it became the key element in establishing a subtle dialogue between the building’s historic identity and a distinctly contemporary design language.

ITL Group office

ITL Group office

Budapest I interior architecture - execution I 2026

The new office of ITL Group, located in the Park Atrium Office Building, was realized based on the concept design of este’r partners, in collaboration with DVM Group. As a one-stop-service company with more than 75 professionals working across nine business divisions, ITL Group sought to create a workspace that reflects both its complex operational structure and its people-oriented corporate culture.

Sustainability played a key role throughout the entire office development process. A significant portion of the company’s existing furniture inventory was preserved and reused, while new interior design solutions were selected with a strong focus on durability, quality, and long-term value. The overall atmosphere of the ground-floor office is defined by natural light, warm tones, and an inviting spatial character that softens the enclosed nature of the location.

The communal areas are open and welcoming, designed with bright colors and a sense of warmth that encourages interaction and collaboration. One of the most distinctive features of the office is the long, stretched wallpaper installation, introducing softness and a playful visual rhythm into the space. Through the interior concept, este’r partners aimed to emphasize that alongside precision and strategic thinking, human values, ambitious visions, Italian passion, and emotional sensitivity are equally essential parts of the company’s identity.

The individuality and personal approach deeply embedded in ITL Group’s DNA are also reflected in the interior environment. The result is a workspace that is not only functional and efficient, but also emotionally engaging – a place designed to make people want to stay, offering warmth and inspiration beyond pure rationality for both the team and their partners.
